We are delighted to announce that we have become the first hotel in Buxton to be accredited with the Peak District National Park Authority’s Environmental Quality Mark (EQM).
The EQM recognises the hotel’s commitment to the local economy and environment, and we have been commended for our sustainable efforts which include ensuring that we are able to offer our guests delicious food from locally sourced produce.
Our guests have also helped us to achieve the EQM, by becoming involved with our initiatives during their stay. This includes drinking our complimentary filtered water which is available to all and enjoying a nice cup of Fairtrade Organic Matthew Algie coffee, which we offer free to all guests who travel to the hotel via public transport.
We’re absolutely thrilled with this accreditation and wish to thank our customers for helping us to become one of the greenest hotels in the region.
