The Old Hall Hotel has a number of function rooms ideal for a private function or private dining options. Whether you are looking to organise a special anniversary, birthday party, christening or naming ceremony, or it’s just a chance for friends and family to meet up, we can cater for your needs.
The Cavendish Room
The stylish Cavendish Room adjoins the relaxing lounge at the front of the hotel for extra seating and comfy chairs, the perfect venue for a family christening or naming ceremony. We can cater for a maximum of 20 people seated at one dining table or up to 30 people for a more informal buffet style layout. Room hire £75.00.
The Talbot Room
The Talbot Room is a similar size to the Cavendish Room without the adjoining lounge. The maximum number for one dining table is 20 people or up to 24 people for a more informal buffet layout. Room Hire £50.00.
The Shrewsbury Room
The Shrewsbury Room overlooks the slopes through beautiful stained glass windows and adjoins the George Potter Bar. The maximum number seated at a block table is 30 people or 65 people with a more informal layout and making use of the George Potter Bar. This is a popular room for christenings, naming ceremonies and parties. Room Hire for the Shrewsbury Room is £80.00 and for the Shrewsbury Room with the George Potter Bar is £150.00.
A la carte restaurant
The Old Hall Hotel’s elegant a la carte restaurant is located at the front of the hotel and perfect for the larger gathering, seating a maximum number of 90 people. No room hire charge is made for a mid week (Sunday – Thursday) lunch or dinner, although minimum numbers do apply. Friday and Saturday lunch room hire £150.00. Friday and Saturday evening room hire £200.00.
The Orchestra Pit
If you are looking for something a little bit different for your occasion we recommend the Orchestra Pit. Set amongst the historic arches and vaults of long ago, it’s a unique venue with its own entrance, lobby, bar, seating area and dance floor and we highly advise viewing the room to fully appreciate its ambience. We can cater for 70 people as a sit down meal, 120 people for a buffet layout and 120 for a party. Hiring the Orchestra Pit is £100 and including a disco is approximately £250.00. A doorman may be required for your event and is charged extra. Please enquire.
