Here at The Old Hall Hotel we’re passionate about our wine cellar and work with our Wine Merchants John Hattersley’s Wines in Bakewell and Springwell Wines. This ensures that we can offer our guests quality and diversity, and Our wine list offers both traditional and modern wines from some of the top producers throughout the world. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
We are delighted to introduce two English wines to our collection.
Chapel Down Sparkling Brut - One of England’s best selling sparkling wines and a great example of a classic English fizz. A crisp, dry sparkling wine, perfect for celebrations and events.
Flint Dry White - Reflecting the warm and sunny summer of 2013 the latest vintage of Flint Dry is bright and fruity with underlying pear notes and a mouth-watering finish.

Our current House Champagne is Lallier Brut and Lallier Rose, fine Champagnes in their own right. We also offer the well known Veuve Cliquot as well as other well known Champagne’s along with the exclusive Krug Grand Cuvee.

The Old Hall Hotel is proud to be able to showcase our guests real ales brewed in and around the local area in our bars and restaurant. In particular we take specialities from micro breweries Buxton Brewery and Thornbridge Brewery in Bakewell.
Buxton Brewery is widely recognised as one of just a small number of breweries who are producing world-class beers in casks, kegs and bottles that are full of flavour and character. We regularly serve Buxton Best, Buxton Bitter and Buxton Blonde. Thornbridge Brewery first started in 2005 and their beers have gained considerable success with over 200 industry and consumer awards. We regularly serve Moor Top, Lord Marples, Brother Rabbit and Wild Swan from Thornbridge. Lord Marples and Buxton Bitter are served on draft along with national brand Doombar.
