The Old Hall Hotel is a popular dining venue in Buxton, whether you are staying at the hotel, attending a special occasion or visiting the theatre. You can choose between the warmth and charm of the Cockerel Wine Bar, which still has the ambience of the ancient coaching hotel, or our stylish a la carte restaurant offering traditional and contemporary cuisine from around the world. Our food is prepared daily by our chefs using fresh local produce and our wine and beers are hand selected by local wine merchants and breweries.
Positioned directly opposite the famous Buxton Opera House and Pavilion Gardens, the Old Hall Hotel is the perfect choice for pre and post theatre dining and we cater for our customers with early and late dining menus as well as interval drinks.
Guests can enjoy our award winning breakfasts in the restaurant featuring Matthew Algie coffee served all day or for a real treat, have afternoon tea in the Cockeral Wine Bar.
