Why should you visit Buxton?

romans_largeheader

Buxton is a small town with a huge amount to offer. We want to put Buxton on the map – regionally, nationally and internationally. To do this we need to build awareness of Buxton. We need to sell Buxton to the outside world – to tourists, visitors and potential investors. The more people that promote Buxton consistently and talk about this special part of the world – for example online, in press, at work and through marketing - the more recognition our Buxton brand will have. The more recognisable and valuable our brand becomes, the more it can help us all to sell products and services to the rest of the world.

Easter Break at the oldest hotel in England

Easter eggs

Get out and enjoy nature again after the dark winter, with a family break at the oldest hotel in England.
Make the Old Hall the base for your family visit to the Peak District, just a stone’s throw away from Chatsworth and Alton Towers there will always be something to do. Buxton is a thriving town with lots of activities for the family as well as some of the best local independent shops.
We are offering children under 7 to stay with us completely free including breakfast and one other meal from the children’s menu. For children from 7 – 14 they can also stay with us completely free with a free breakfast (if sharing a room with adults)
There will be an Easter Egg Hunt throughout the 2 weeks holidays for your children to learn a little bit more about this historic hotel.

The Old Hall is famous in Buxton and the surrounding area for our traditional Sunday Lunches and we will not disappoint on Easter Sunday with our traditional three course Sunday Lunch served from 12noon – 2.00pm in our elegant restaurant overlooking the Pavilion Gardens.
