Our Restaurant and Wine Bar are very popular with both Hotel guests and local residents, so we advise, should you wish to dine with us to reserve a table prior to your arrival at the hotel. If you are on a Dinner inclusive rate, please let us know what time you would like to dine at your earliest convenience.
If you have requested a specific room we will endeavour to allocate it for you, however we cannot guarantee this.
For your information we advise your room will be available from 2pm onwards and we ask that you vacate your room before 11am on the morning of your departure.
There is no charge if you cancel your room 24 hours prior to arrival, based on a 2pm arrival. If you cancel after 2pm the day prior to arrival your firsts nights rate will be charged.
Car Parking is available in front of and opposite the Hotel. A permit can be obtained from reception on check in and the cost to park for a full day costs £3.00 and for a half day ticket it is just £1.50. Parking is free between 6pm and 8am.
The Crescent was the centrepiece of the Fifth Duke of Devonshire’s plans to establish a fashionable Georgian spa town in Buxton. The grade 1 listed building is one of the most architecturally significant buildings in the country. The redevelopment and restoration will secure a major investment of circa £50 million in Buxton. Plans for the Crescent include a 80-bedroom 5* spa hotel occupying the majority of the Crescent. VINCI Construction UK started work early in 2016 and it is anticipated that the Hotel and Spa and Pump Room will open in 2019.
Please be patient with us whilst the development is taking place, as The Old Hall Hotel will form a part of this exciting project and is next door to the Crescent.
