Buxton Opera House and Pavilion Arts Centre are hosting their very first Comedy Festival from the 31st August to the 3rd September 2017. During Buxton Comedy Festival, they are pleased to announce big name headliners, shows direct from the fringe circuit plus workshops and films – there’s plenty going on in town.
During this packed weekend the headline slots in the Opera House belong to top stand-up Jimmy Carr and comedian, actor and I’m a Celebrity favourite Joel Dommett, along with a Friday night comedy music gig from festival favourites The Lancashire Hotpots. In the Pavilion Arts Centre there is a double bill from Damian Kingsley and Tanyalee Davis, Saturday afternoon Comedy Club 4 Kids and silent comedy duo the Kagools. All topped off with workshops, comedy drama, funny films and fringe circuit favourites.
