See 16th Century Buxton here at the Old Hall Hotel – brought to life with the tale of Mary Queen of Scots seen through the eyes of Mary Seton, her longest serving lady-in-waiting. A re-enactor, in full Tudor dress, guides you through the experiences of the imprisoned Queen and her time in Buxton. Mary Queen of Scots visited Buxton at least 5 times between 1573 and 1584 and the tour will feature writings, sketches and the symbols that were scratched on the window of The Old Hall Hotel.
